Even though LichenLoom is based in the Philippines, we comply with the GDPR for all users, especially those in the European Union and European Economic Area.

We will process your request within 30 days.

3.3 Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Article 17)

  • You object to processing and there is no stronger legal basis
  • The data was processed illegally
  • The law requires the data to be deleted

We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.

3.4 Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)

You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your data if:

  • You dispute the accuracy of the data (while we verify it)
  • The processing is illegal but you do not want the data deleted
  • We no longer need the data but you need it for a legal claim
  • You object to processing (while we verify it)

You have the right to:

  • Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV)
  • Transfer your data to another service provider

This applies when the processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means.

3.6 Right to Object (Article 21)

You have the right to object to the processing of your data if:

  • The processing is based on legitimate interest
  • The data is used for direct marketing
  • The data is used for profiling

When you object, we will stop processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds.

3.7 Right Against Automated Decision-Making (Article 22)

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that has a legal effect on you.

LichenLoom does not use automated decision-making with legal or similar effects.

  3. Describe your request clearly
  4. Provide sufficient information for us to verify your identity

We will respond to your request within 30 days. If the request is complex, we may extend this by up to 60 additional days with notice to you.

Exercising these rights is free. However, for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, we may charge a reasonable fee.
